Bortnikoff is a niche perfume brand, founded by Dmitry Bortnikoff (an architect by training) in Thailand.
Originally, Dmitry Bortnikoff worked with the company Feel-Oud on the production of rare natural oils, such as agarwood (oud) and sandalwood.
The brand was launched around 2017/2018. According to Fragrantica: "founded … in 2017" and the first creation came out in 2018.
The company is based in Thailand (see product information: manufacturer in Bangkok).
The brand focuses on very high-quality, natural ingredients , often in very limited editions. For example, some creations contain 85–100% natural ingredients.
Much attention is paid to rare raw materials: wild agarwood (oud), ambra grey, beaver castoreum, etc.
The style tends towards pronounced niche perfumes: complex, intense, often unisex, daring in fragrance palette.
Vibrant between tradition (old distillation techniques) and modern design: “combines traditional distillation techniques … with innovations to create modern masterpieces,” according to the brand website.
Many of the perfumes are Extrait de Parfum (highly concentrated) and have limited editions.
The fragrance selection is unisex, or "for him/her," and the scent characteristics are very diverse: from citrus/fougere to classic wood/oud. See some examples below.

The prices are also in the luxury segment: niche prices, limited availability.
If you are looking for something unique and different from the masses, Bortnikoff is definitely an option: niche, with rare materials.
For lovers of oud , wooden notes , naturals in perfume – then the brand is interesting.
For those willing to invest in fragrance: not necessarily budget perfumes, but choices that make a statement.
For those who are tired of the “mass market” fragrances and are looking for something with character.
Due to the high concentration and natural ingredients, the scent can be heavier/more complex than standard fragrances – which means you might want to try a sample first.
Availability: Some creations are limited or difficult to find in Belgium/the Netherlands; import duties or customs fees may apply.
Fragrance projection and duration can be strong, so choose the occasion you want to wear it for (see deep wood/oud scents for example).
Niche often means less “safe” or “beer market,” so it's important that the scent really suits you (personal scent profile).
